Our Story
The Deputies Baton & Drum Corps was formed over 40 years ago by Linda Jones and was originally known as Dillon's Deputies.
The Deputies have traveled and competed in many parades in the state of Ohio and beyond. We are proud to hold state titles from the King's Island competition and many titles from Twirl Mania International Championships competition at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We have participated in the Orange Bowl Parade; Miss America Parade in Atlantic City; the Independence Day Parades in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia; The Canton Hall of Fame Parade; Disney World Christmas Parade; Cedar point parades; Cavs games; and many more. We enjoy traveling with the corps and offering new and exciting experiences for our members and their families.
We are proud of our Deputy Alumni accomplishments! Multiple members have become collegiate feature twirlers, an Assistant Drum Major at The Ohio State University, members of university drum lines, and a member of a rock band!

TEAM USA 2025
Senior Majorette Parade Corps.
Our competition parade corps qualified at the 2024 U.S.T.A. National Championships to compete at the 2025 IBTF World Majorette Championships in Torino, Italy. We are excited our competition team has to the honor of representing Lorain County, the state of Ohio, and the U.S.A.!

A: No experience necessary!
Q: What are the ages?
A: Twirlers: 3-18 ; Drummers 8-21
Q: Do I need to purchase batons or drum sticks before practice?
A: We will have baton and drum equipment for you to use at your first practice. We have batons for sale and can place orders as well.
